In recent years, Northwich has seen an £80M revival being undertaken to include Barons Quay Retail, Events and Leisure Centre, housing a 5 screen Odeon cinema.

Northwich Marina is also in the centre of the Town where you can see heritage narrow boats going past on the picturesque River Weaver.

The nearest University is University of Chester, dating back to 1839 which welcomes students from all over the World. It is the fifth oldest higher education establishment in the UK with only Oxford, Cambridge, Durham and London dating further back.
It formally became an affiliated college of the University of Liverpool in 1921 at which time the students used Liverpool’s facilities and University of Liverpool awarded Chester’s qualifications.
The University was the first purpose-built teacher training college in the UK. As a University, it now occupies five campus sites in and around Chester, one in Warrington, and a University Centre in Shrewsbury. Transport Links
The village is near to the A556 Northwich bypass which provides good commuting links to Manchester, Chester, M6 and M56 motorway networks and Manchester International Airport.
There are also local railway stations at Lostock, Plumley and Knutsford which lie on the main Manchester to Chester line.
The town is only minutes from Junction 19 of the M6 Motorway and M56 link and only 10 minutes from Knutsford.
How to Find Us
From Junction 19 of M6, take A556 towards Northwich. Travel through Tabley and drive past Dove Barn (Manor Farm) and The Smoker* on the right-hand side. Bear right onto the A559, Manchester Road. Travel straight for approx.. 2.5 km and you will arrive at our Wincham Brook Development. *The Smoker is a thatched coaching Inn in Plumley and dates back to 1812.
From M56 at Preston Brook, take A533 Northwich Road towards Northwich. Travel through Dutton and continue to cross over A49 staying on A533 which turns into Runcorn Road. Stay on this road and cross the Winnington Swing Bridge over the River Weaver which goes through Winnington and turns into Winnington Lane then drive past the Victoria Infirmary on the right hand side. At the main junction bear left staying on the A533 which goes over Weaver Way and bear left at A559 Chester Way. Go past Northwich Memorial Court on the right and drive further on past the Northwich School of Music. At the large roundabout, take the 3rd exit to stay on Chester Way (A559). This road takes you over Wade Brook. Drive for approx. 1km, and you will arrive at our Wincham Brook Development.
